Meet Recap

Forest Hills Boys Swimming & Diving team placed 3rd in a very competitive Zeeland New Years Invitational. The “Hills’ currently are ranked 9th in Division 1 was facing their toughest competition of the year with defending state champion number 1 ranked Birmingham Brother Rice attending as well as #2 Saline and #6 Zeeland all looking to see how their programs are looking at this time of the year.

Forest Hills added four individual D-1 state cuts and two relays (the 200 yd. Medley and the 400 yd. Freestyle). Dakota Weinman captured two state cuts when he touched in at 2:00.92 in the 200 yd. Individual Medley as well as posting a 55.01 in the 100 yd. Backstroke.

Jonathan Bloedow also captured a state cut in the 100 yd. Backstroke when he touched the wall 54.78. Matt Wilson picked up the other state qualifying time going 1:01.39. Forest Hills is return Saturday, January 7th when they host their own Forest Hills Invitational at the Community and Aquatic Center.
