#2 Ranked Divsion 3 Forest Hills Central traveled to Chelsea for their first game of the High School Showcase to take on #6 ranked Division 1 Northville. Northville took control early in the game scoring the lone goal in the 1st period for a 1-0 lead. Luke Skillman scored the goal with assists going to Devin Laba and Danny Scorzo. 2-minutes into the 2nd period Northville stretched their lead to 2-0 as Nick Bonofiglio one timed a shot past Drake Deering after taking a pass from Ty Kilar. Forest Hills Central turned the tide midway through the 2nd period and peppered Northville All State Netminder Bret Miller shot after shot until Zak Currie finally snuck one by after being set up by Nicko Withey and Jack Bowling to close the gap to 2-1 midway through the 2nd period. 30-seconds later Connor Foresman knotted the score at 2-apiece after taking two beautiful passes from Charlie Brewer and Jacob Demeter. Forest Hills Central continued the momentum the rest of the 2nd and 3rd periods but Mustang netminder Bret Miller stood tall as the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Forest Hills Central continues their successful season with a 17-1-2 record. Drake Deering made 20 saves and Northville netminder Bret Miller finished with 38 saves.
