Athletic Director

After an enjoyable 2010 season Bill Kennedy begins his second year as Athletic Director. Kennedy has served as a coach (Football, Crew, and Lacrosse) in the past and brings a wealth of athletic experience to the position.
After graduating from Francis Scott Key HS in Uniontown, MD(football, basketball, baseball, and track), Kennedy moved on to Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA were he was a member of both the Football and Crew Programs. In addition to his participation in athletics he also worked in the Athletic Department serving as Assistant Equipment Manager for the school during his senior year.
Upon graduation Kennedy worked in the Sales and Marketing Department of the Pittsburgh Penguins. During his time there he handled ad sales both in the arena and in various media mediums. In 2000 he moved on to become a Sales Representative for the Delmarva Shorebirds a Class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. In addition to sales while on the Eastern Shore, Kennedy spent time managing the intern program for the club. In 2002 he would move on to become the Director of Ticket Sales for the Eugene Emeralds in Eugene, OR. While in Eugene he handled all ticket sales accounts among various other duties. Finally in 2003 he made his way to the Midwest and began a tenure with the Lansing Lugnuts in Lansing, MI. While in Lansing he worked as a Corporate Account Representative handling large corporate functions in addition to season ticket sales.
Kennedy made his transition to education in 2005 and moved to Grand Rapids. After serving as a member of the Football coaching staff in 2005, he would make his move into the classroom, student teaching and eventually become a member of the teaching staff at FHC. Teaching everything from History of Thought to AP World History in his time as a teacher he knew that Administration would some day be a part of his future.

Currently Kennedy resides in Grand Rapids, with his wife Kami, and son current FHC Sophomore Dakota Alger. They are joined by their loyal companions Marley and Lilly.
