Who We Are:

We are a three school (Central-Northern-Eastern) Co-Operative program and together we are known as Forest Hills “United” and our 2016-17 season kicks off with a parent/athlete information meeting which will be held at the Community Room of the Forest Hills Aquatic Center on Monday, November 7th at 6:30 pm. Our “Official” first day of practice is Monday, November 21, 2016. All swimming & diving practices and home competitions take place at the Forest Hills Community and Aquatic Center.

Greater Grand Rapids Conference:

Our conference consists of the following teams: East Grand Rapids, Forest Hills (Central- Northern -Eastern), Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Grand Rapids Christian, Jenison, Northview and Spring Lake.

Winning these conference dual meets and the conference championship meet are required for our team to win the league championships. Any other meet/events listed on the team schedule are considered “non-conference” and we schedule these meets/events to provide the team an opportunity to see how well we can compete against other teams from other conferences in the area or around the state.

All meets/events listed are required participation as a member of the men’s swimming and diving team. This is a season-long commitment, 6 days a week and it’s not a program where you just show up whenever you want to. As a member of the varsity team, everyone will have equal opportunities for competing in any event and/or relay position.

Athletics & Academics:

Tradition is a part of any program. During the past 12 years of the Co-Op program, has won 6 Conference titles, placed in the Top 15 at the State Championship Finals in 10 times including two Top 4 finishes all the while excelling in the classroom. The 2015-16 team posted a team GPA of 3.59 earning a National Silver Academic Team Award and the team tied for 4th place in Division 1 within the state of Michigan. The team celebrated 5 seniors earning Academic All-American honors as they posted a 3.75 GPA and/or higher and one team member earn Athletic All-American honors in the 50 yd. Freestyle.
