Forest Hills Central traveled to East Kentwood looking to avenge a 2-1 loss early in the season at home to the Falcons. The Rangers came out flying in the 1st period outshooting the Falcons by a wide margin but could not muster a shot past Trevor Stephenson as the game remained scoreless after the 1st. Charlie Brewer put the Rangers up 1-0 with assists going to Cole Beaufait and Hayden Sarjeant. Falcons came right back tying the game at 1-apiece as Matt Coe beat Logan Verpoort with an assist going to Kyle Boring. The Rangers would fight back to take the lead as Cole Beaufait took two beautiful passes from Charlie Brewer and Jacob Demeter giving the Rangers a 2-1 lead after 2-periods. Early in the 3rd period Brady Strabel would tie the game with assists going to Kyle Boring and Connor Graham. Minutes later Josh Koets back from an injury scored his first varsity goal which ended up being the game winner. Assists went to Peter Bardelli and Cole Munger. Charlie Brewer would score an empty net goal with 5-seconds to go with assists going to Mason Kelly and Jacob Demeter; giving the Rangers their 8th win in the past nine games. Both Ranger netminders Logan Verpoort and Carl Mielock played well in net for the Rangers. FHC is back in action Tuesday night in the first round of playoffs vs East Grand Rapids at Patterson Arena
