Forest Hills Central traveled to LC Walker arena to take on Muskegon Reeths Puffer in a conference tilt and continue their positive momentum over the past 3-weeks. FHC squeaked out a 4-3 win earlier in the year at Patterson Arena. Logan Verpoort and Nick Meyering both each made 9 saves as the score was 0-0 after 1-period. FHC would score 2-goals in the 2nd period as Jacob Demeter broke the scoreless tie with assists from Charlie Brewer and Cole Ott. The Rangers would score their second goal of the period as Cole Beaufait beat the Rocket netminder after taking a pass from Ryan Jeffreys. The Rangers would score the next 2-goals to stretch their lead to 4-0 as Cole Ott would score the third Ranger goal off the stick of Timmy Kramer. Charlie Brewer added the 4th goal with an assist from Cole Beaufait. Reeths Puffer would score 2-goals to make it a 4-2 game before Jacob Demeter would score an empty net goal with assists coming from Ryan Jeffreys and Ranger netminder Logan Verpoort for a 5-2 Ranger victory. The Rangers are home vs Conference rival East Kentwood Friday night at Patterson Arena.
