Taking a two week break from the last meet, the Boys swimming and diving team didn’t show any signs of rust as they shook off a challenge by Grand Rapids Christian 115 to 66 last night at the Forest Hills Aquatic Center.
Jonathan Bloedow won the 200 yd Freestyle with Zach Stevenson in 2nd place followed by Luke Asselin and Munsoek Jeong,
Daniel Bloedow took first in the 200 yd. Individual Medley followed by Adam Sands, Andrew Zhang and Tyler Perschbacker.
Matt Wilson took 1st in the 50-yard Freestyle with Seth Fagen capturing 3rd, Avery Letourneau in 4th and Kaz Iwatsu touching 5th.
Ryan Talbot scored 1st in diving with Sam Musgraves in 4th and Joe Mish taking 5th place.
Henry Schutte touched first in both the 100 yd. Butterfly as Seth Fagen and Ethan Boersma finished 2nd and 4th.
Matt Wilson completed the sprint sweeps with a victory in the 100 yd. Freestyle as Avery LeTourneau as 3rd, Daniel Bloedow 4th and Tyler Perschbacker 5th.
CJ Hier took top honors in the 500-yard Freestyle and Munsoek Jeong took 2nd followed closely by Luke Asselin for 3rd place.
Henry Schutte was top finisher in the 100-yard Backstroke as Josh Stevenson and Zack Stevenson went 3rd and 4th.
The victory keeps the team undefeated 8-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Freshman and Sophomores will compete as a team on Saturday. Then the team will prepare for their dual meet vs. East Grand Rapids next Tuesday at EGR starting at 6:00 pm.
